About the Artist
Natasha Clark aka Tasha, is an emerging African American Artist based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Media Arts & Animation. Early in her artistic journey she painted portraits and designed graphics for small businesses and other black entrepreneurs like herself. She enjoys working in a variety of mediums: acrylic, watercolor and digital. Throughout her journey she experimented with different genres of art such as florals, abstracts, realism, landscapes, and conceptual pieces but her heart always brought her back to the contemporary urban roots: depicting strong, black women & black culture which is represented in her recent works, “I am American”, “Beauty & Kinks” & “Serenity is Self-care”.
